Purpose
These terms govern the use of the voxsen.com website, the Voxsen application (“the app”), the Voxsen server kit (“the server”) and the Voxsen account. By using them, you accept these terms. The publisher is presented in the legal notice.
The software
The app and the server kit are provided free of charge and as is, with no guarantee of availability, continuous operation or fitness for a particular purpose. They may change, and some features may in the future be offered as a paid option; the applicable terms will then be stated clearly before any purchase.
App updates install automatically in order to fix problems and keep the app compatible with servers.
Voxsen account
- A single Voxsen account works on every server. You must be at least 15 years old, or have a parent's consent, to create one.
- Account information must be accurate, and the email address must be yours.
- You are responsible for your password and for what is done with your account. Turn on two-factor authentication if you can.
- You can ask for your account to be deleted at any time by writing to contact@voxsen.com.
Servers and administrators
Each Voxsen server is managed by its administrator (the person who installed it). The administrator:
- decides on the rules of their server, sign-ups, roles and moderation;
- is responsible for the data hosted on their machine and for complying with the law, in particular regarding personal data;
- must inform their members of how their data is kept and deleted;
- if they list their server in the public Voxsen directory, guarantees that its name, description and images comply with these terms.
Good conduct
It is forbidden to use Voxsen to spread illegal content (in particular hateful, child sexual abuse, terrorist or infringing content), harass, threaten, impersonate others, send spam, infringe the rights of third parties, get around a sanction or disrupt the operation of a server or of the service.
Reports and sanctions
Any content or behavior that breaks these terms can be reported with the report form or at contact@voxsen.com. Administrators may kick or ban members from their server. The Voxsen team may suspend a Voxsen account or remove a server from the directory in case of abuse, and pass on to the authorities what the law requires it to report.
Intellectual property
You may use the app and the server kit for your own use or your community's. The Voxsen name and logo may not be reused without permission. You remain the owner of the content you post, and you are responsible for posting it.
Liability
The publisher cannot be held liable for content exchanged on servers it does not administer, nor for data loss due to an installation, configuration or backup of a server that is insufficient, nor for an interruption of the service.
Changes
These terms may change. The update date at the top of this page shows it; any important change is announced in the app or on the site.
Applicable law and contact
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action; if you are a consumer, you may also use a consumer mediator free of charge. Contact: contact@voxsen.com.
